Where are the most amazing locations in Italy to celebrate the New Year

There is very little time left before the New Year and Italy is changing: magnificent shows and performances are being prepared that will help us meet 2022 on these difficult days to the sound of music.

As it was in previous years: music sounded on the main Italian squares of any city, to which one wanted to dance and have fun in anticipation of the last moments of the outgoing year.

To spend an unforgettable New Year's Eve, I chose the best locations in Italy, where there were always a lot of cheerful people. I hope that these days nothing will prevent you from having fun and celebrating the new year.

Always in Florence, several squares on 31 December have been transformed into open-air stages to pave the way for a magical night in one of the most beautiful cities in the world. Walk to Piazzale Michelangelo, Piazza della Signoria, Piazza San Lorenzo, Piazza Pitti and Piazza Santissima Annunziata, where many musical events are usually held.

And what about Rome? From year to year, the heart of Rome has always turned into a dream place with shows, music and light projections. The party began on the evening of December 31st at the Circus Maximus, which on this occasion will turn into a large square, waiting for the new year to come with lights, sounds, acrobatic performances, light projections and fireworks.

There is also Rimini, where New Year's Eve is widely celebrated: many events, shows and performances will revive the streets of the old town and the embankment. Many DJ sets have turned the city into a gorgeous open-air disco for a night of excitement and fun.

Let's hope that New Year's Eve will give us a real holiday!
