Property in the Empire
Real estate offering: residences, flats, mansions in the Empire.
Empire is a region in Italy, serving as the capital of its eponymous province. Imperia is a city located in the Italian Riviera, also known as the Riviera dei Fiori, situated east of San Remo.
The primary occupation of the locals revolves around cultivating olive trees and tending to flower gardens.
The inception of Imperia dates back to 1923 when the ancient cities of Porto Maurizio and Oneglia unified to form the Empire. The province derived its grand and resonant name from Mussolini, paying homage to the Imperio River flowing nearby. The region has been inhabited since ancient Roman times, later falling under the authority of the bishops of Albenga followed by the Genoese patricians of Doria. Notably, this area was home to the renowned admiral, Andrea Doria.
Presently, the province thrives primarily on international tourists drawn to the Empire. Among its architectural gems stands the grand Cathedral of St. Mauritius, constructed in 1781 in a classical style. Equally impressive is the residence of a Swiss clown named Grock.
Visitors can also explore one of the nation's most contemporary aquatic sports facilities within this province.
